ChinabikeNews (1)

This article was written and photographed by journalist and bike enthusiast Steve Stroud.  He joined our pioneering trip through the Grasslands of N.Sichuan and Gansu into Qinghai.  The year was 1995. We were chased by Mastif's and had our tents sprinkled with salt ( a joke by the local Tibetan nomads who knew their yaks would then love licking them). :-)

This article is one of my all time favorites.  Written by one of our participants in diary form.  The trip she was on was in West China, Tibetan Highlands from North Sichuan to Qinghai.

This article was written when we were still commonly using our original trading name "International Cyclists to Asia". In 2011 we begain unifying the website under our current trading name to be "Mountainbikingasia.com".

What a lot of great memories with this special group riding South China. This article was written when we were still commonly using our original trading name "International Cyclists to Asia". In 2011 we began unifying the website under our current trading name to be "Mountainbikingasia.com".
